Meeting You Where You're At is a community-powered nonprofit committed to serving unhoused and at-risk single women throughout Hartford County. Our unique outreach approach involves connecting with participants wherever they feel most comfortable—whether that's in encampments, shelters, or even on the streets—to provide crucial support and help foster trust and accessibility.
Our mission is to break down barriers by addressing immediate needs while building long-term relationships that pave the way to sustainable living. With compassion and respect as our guiding values, we offer the resources, guidance, and encouragement women need to navigate and overcome challenging circumstances.

Our volunteers connect personally with women wherever they are—shelters, encampments, or streets—to build trusted relationships and deliver support safely and respectfully.

Each woman receives individualized support and case management aimed at fostering self-sufficiency and long-term stability, from basic needs to life-skills coaching.

We help participants access critical resources such as housing, healthcare, food, and job readiness, ensuring support that matches each individual’s needs and goals.
